Skulls
I’ve always liked things with skulls on them. I’m a sucker for heart prints as well but skulls have a darker edge that appeals to me. Although never a fully-fledged Goth I did flirt with it a bit during my teenage years and something must have stuck. Before Christmas I bought a long skull print vest from M&Co for the princely sum of £14 and wore it quite a bit over the festive period with my leather trousers.
I definitely don’t need it but am tempted by this studded skull tee that’s currently reduced from £50 to £25 on www.cruisefashion.co.uk. I like the longer length and the scoop neckline. And the hot pink studs add a touch – but not too much – of cute:
Also on the site are these awesome black peep toe heels by Alexander McQueen – reduced from £495 to £248. I’d never be able to take more than three steps in heels that height but there’s no denying their fabulousness:
While browsing the Cruise site this Alexander McQueen iPhone case caught my eye. I’ve never bothered with a case for my phone (which so far has survived quite well without one) but would happily change my ways for this (if I ever have a spare £140 that I really don’t know what to do with!):
I’ve got one of Tina Lilienthal’s skull and crossbones necklaces, which I bought from Brazen in Glasgow’s Merchant City:
The skulls and crown necklaces are also fab:
And I’d gladly wear any of the brightly coloured skulls on silk thread, although the silver version on the yellow thread is probably my favourite. These cost just £29 and would make great birthday presents for friends – as long as it’s not someone who would find it a bit morbid!
Do you have a particular thing – hearts, butterflies, flowers etc – that features a lot on your clothes or accessories?
xx
