Studded jumper

This Kookai jumper was a sale bargain – down to £18 from £59 in House of Fraser (seriously, would anyone pay £59 for a little jumper like this?). I like that it’s a classic shape but has the studded shoulder detail and a gold sheen on the fabric.

Here’s last weekend’s outfit. I chose the dotty tights as I thought they’d tie in with the shoulder studs to create an integrated outfit (actually that’s a complete lie – they were the only tights I could find that were clean and didn’t have holes in them):

Everything gets the giletfication treatment at the moment – this is the biggest clothing crush I’ve had in a long time:

I know it’s crazy logic but in my mind I’ve saved myself £40 that I can now spend on treats this weekend – books ‘n’ booze ‘n’ chips ‘n’ chocolate…

Happy weekend!

Haha – LOVE your REAL reason for the polka dot tights!

The jumper is such a great sale buy. I’d never buy it at full price but it’s such a bargain in the sale! x

Loving the jumper (and the price)! It looks fab on you especially with the added giletfication.
Chips, booze, books and chocolate? I could so easily splash the cash on that combo, mind if I join you? xxx

Ooops, Sarah, what happened to my comment?

Obviously gone… Just said that this would be my logic exactly. Great buy. and wonderful gilet perfect for this weather! xo

That’s perfect logic to me! I’m sure some people don’t bat an eyelid at paying £59 for a top but I’m definitely not one of them. £18 is a much more reasonable price and it is a gorgeous little piece.

Yay for the gilet making another appearance. You look so happy to be wearing it.

mmmm basics with a twist like that are the MOST useful wardrobe item, I find…

Oh man, when I think about all the money I spend on food compared how I could spend it on clothes I get very jumpy. I mean, a few nice meals and with that I could get a cute fall jacket. What’s worth more? Such a hard choice.

    Lovely photos as always!

Love your logic… and love that gilet even more! x

haha I loved the ‘real reason’ also. Truth is thats more often than not the thought process behind alot of great outfits…
But I think the jumper is really cute & the studded detail is interesting but subtle.
    :)

@Dancing Branflake – don’t regret money spent on food. Eating good quality food at home is worth every penny I think, as are meals in nice restaurants. Experiences are worth so much more than material goods! xx

@Vix – we do seem to enjoy the same things, don’t we! x

Gorgeous jumper! Of course if you make a saving on an item that money should be spent on other fun things :)

The jumper is lovely. I agree a little pricey at full price but good find in the sale. Perfect with the dotty tights. And everything looks even better with the gilet so gilet it up I say! x
