Lace dress
A few more pics from last weekend in Chester. In keeping with my friends’ antique-filled house my dress really should be vintage, but it’s not – it was £45 from Warehouse. I like the smock style of it and the blouson sleeves.

Look how comfortable I am in that luxurious setting! I’m obviously to the manor born – where did it all go wrong?!

I LOVE that dress! I actually have a lace dress that I’ve been wanting to wear but it’s more on the bodycon side so I should get a more loose, flowy one like the one you’re wearing!

wow that house is decorated beautifully! i wish i lived there. and i love your lace dress- it really does fit right in with the decor.
@Alex – yep, it’s a bowler hat lamp shade – fab, isn’t it? I’d never have had the confidence to put something like that in my flat, but now that I’ve seen their place I’ve tons of ideas! xx
This dress is so gorgeous – I’ve been looking for one exactly like this for so long – Warehouse has done itself proud! xx
Your Warehouse lace dress looks perfect on you in those settings. Although i was brought up living in large very old houses i hadn’t given much thought to how the decor and our clothes matched the house. The wallpaper reminds me very much or the wallpaper my parents did on the walls of our lower stairway and entrance hall. Come to think of it the furniture and knick-knacks were antique and the way our parents dressed us as children was quite old-fashioned. You do look like you belong there in the photos above.
